Yeah, they’re thankful…clearly.
Licia has a new post she want to update you guys with but I still don’t have 50 pictures! I have received 29 photos (thank you all who sent one!) and still need AT LEAST 21, but would LOVE to get more.
Ready….GO!
I have received 12 pictures so far (THANK YOU…it is so incredible to now see your once invisible faces!!)
Look at these gorgeous people:

I still need more pictures though!! I really hope it doesn’t come down to me dressing like Richard Simmons and giving a lame motivational speech. So please…just take a picture and send it here: j.micah6.8@gmail.com
(If you are reading this and are incredibly lost as to what is going on…please refer to the previous post)
While Licia, Enoch, Henley and Trey headed into Port au Prince today for a doctors visit for Licia and the baby I (Jess) have brutally taken over the blog because we need some photos of your glorious faces!! The engineers that are here to plan for the new land have a GINORMOUS job to do. They are donating their time and resources to be here and we want to give them a huge “Thank You, Merci, Gracias, etc…”
With that said, I need YOU to send me creative pictures of you and your kids, you and your hot significant other, your kids and their guinea pig, or you and your exotic hat that you bought in Mexico, etc. with a sign that says “Thank You” in whatever language you speak. Your pictures and pictures of people in and around Real Hope for Haiti will be plastered all over their living and work areas to let them know how much we appreciate all they are doing! (E-mail to: j.micah6.8@gmail.com)
Here are a few examples from around RHFH:
I need at least 50 by 6PM Central time today!! Get on it people!!
Dreams are coming true today at RHFH. They may only be starting out in the minds of people and on paper but things are happening. Her are pictures of the EMI team that is here to help us plan out the future grounds for RHFH. We have been waiting years for this. We are so thankful that God has put us together with this wonderful team (representing 4 different countries). They have lots of great ideas and are full of encouragement for us. God is so good!

11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. 12 You will go out in joy
and be led forth in peace;
the mountains and hills
will burst into song before you,
and all the trees of the field
will clap their hands. 13 Instead of the thornbush will grow the pine tree,
and instead of briers the myrtle will grow.
This will be for the LORD’s renown,
for an everlasting sign,
which will not be destroyed.” photo credit goes to the one and only Carmelo

There are some kids that just need a little extra love and care. Anna and Jess have been taking care of no less than three kids at a time. Some for a few night some long-term. It is a full-time job. It takes a lot of work. There are lots of messes (poo and puke) worms, fevers, night-time feedings and multiple other things that are done for these kids. The ladies in the RC have many kids (around 60 now) to take care of so it gives my heart such peace to have these ones that need and extra touch in Anna and Jess’s hand. Marlene came in about a month ago. Five year old and weighing 14. As of this am she is 18 pounds. She is a new child. She smiles, laughs and plays. She is beautiful. She is a creation of God. She is eating now, she is on the road to recovery. One by one we are making a difference in the lives of children. When the parents come back to visit they believe that the God we have healed their child. They are open to listen to the gospel. They see a miracle before their eyes. Their sick child recovered. God is good!
Words are not enough to thank Jess, Anna and others that work one on one with these sick and dying kids. I can only know that their reward will be great in heaven.
15-17People brought babies to Jesus, hoping he might touch them. When the disciples saw it, they shooed them off. Jesus called them back. “Let these children alone. Don’t get between them and me. These children are the kingdom’s pride and joy. Mark this: Unless you accept God’s kingdom in the simplicity of a child, you’ll never get in.”
A few of you that know the team that is here have written and asked how they are doing. They arrive safely and are doing fine. We have been keeping them busy. This AM the team went to the semi container and organized the remaining boxes that were left. This was a huge help to us to be able to find needed supplies. They have been counting pills and bagging them up for the clinic. They have been doing VBS for 20 children each afternoon. We have a graduation for a class tomorrow that they will be helping out with. And in their free time
they are loving on the kids in the RC.

Who knew you could have this much fun with a spoon and empty medicine cups!
The internet has been out this morning and we were just able to reconnect to the world
I cannot thank you all enough for the outpouring of support for the 40 families. We have $840.oo donated in FAITHFUL monthly support. We also had a one time gift on $300.oo for the project. There were 17 people/families that responded. That is great! Maybe it is the pregnancy emotions but I just want to cry and am so thankful to each of you. I really mean it from my heart it means so much to me to be able to continue this program with these families. God is so good!
I gave out over 80 food boxes today. I made it work with what I had on hand. God helped me stretch it. I have been discouraged today thinking that I will have to turn 40 people away in two weeks. As of this morning I had $0.00 donated. I just recieve this email.
I have set it up with my bank to cut a check to RHFH for your Rice program for $20 each month. Knowing that I can help feed two families each month is a blessing from God. Please don’t cut those two families from your list. I’m sure God will provide for them, too. In fact, I hope He gives you more than you need so more families can be fed. B.
I know so many of you pray and give and give and give. We greatly appreciate it and know many give and it is a sacrifice for you and your families. I wish you could know how much it means to a family to have a little extra food on the table. I wish you could see them kiss our cheeks and thank us for the little food we are giving them. It means so much. I am still in need of 38 people to give faithful donations of $10.00 monthly to meet this need. Please let me know if you are interested. God will bless you!
