The village of Germain

‘These pictures are from a village called Germain.  It is maybe a 20 minute walk up from Cazale.

The cement slab in the middle of the picture used to be where a house stood.

This was a huge tree that was next to the river

Can you guess what this is?  It’s the top of an outhouse that sunk into the ground.

The ground is splitting in many places and causing mud slides

The wind took the tin off this house

This is where four houses slid down the side of the mountain
