This is Osna.  She is 2 1/2 years old and weighs 25 pounds.  Her parents live in a village called Tibwa.  It is far away.  This is there first child.  She has been swollen with kwashiorkor for almost a month.  The parents did not know what to do.  They asked their neighbors and friends and they told them if their child was swollen they needed to go to Cazale and they could get help.  She is in bad shape and in pain.  Will you pray for her?

Stanley died last weekend.  Fever, seizures, diar

Christine died this weekend.  Resp. problems, diar, kwashiorkor

Erlanta died Sunday morning.  She suffered, she cried for days, she yelled in pain, she begged for milk.  Her skin came off of her bottom and under her arm pits, she could not sit or stand, she was in a lot of pain.  She died a death that did not need to be – a death because she needed food, meat, beans, PB, vegetables anything with protien and vitamins. Why did her parents wait so long to seek help?   I know you will not believe me unless you can see it for yourself, but these kids suffer…greatly.  Their bodies are shutting down, they are dying and still talking to you, still begging for food, still wanting to live.  I am holding back everything within me today to just not let it all out and let you hear my feeling on this and the stupid thing called manlutrition.  I want to but can’t.   Just pray and don’t look away from these children.

Just pray…

Lord please help the children of Haiti and give strength to those at the Rescue Center. Thank you for the children who have been healed through the work there, and please be with the families of the children who have gone to be with you. We know it breaks your heart to see children suffering, so please Lord, send the provisions and help that these people need!

Father God, be with Licia and the children she serves. Hold those who are suffering, ease those who are dying. Help our world to open our eyes and our hearts to those in need. Bless us all.

Licia – this brought tears to my eyes and I know this also grieves our Heavenly Father’s heart…..children aren’t supposed to suffer in this way. However, we can take some solace in the fact that they have been welcomed in to Heaven and He has drawn them nearer to himself. Praise God for what you are doing in Cazale. My prayer today is for God to comfort you in your time of grieving, for you to be given even more strength and stamina in the days ahead, and also that you and your family would be blessed for your obedience and willingness to answer His call.

God is using your site to ground me reality. All I can do is pray for you. I do it with all my heart.
Thank you for being His servant to the least of these. Draw comfort from Him. Draw strength from Him. He is able when we are not.

Nothing I want to say seems “enough”. I can’t imagine being in your position. I will and am praying for all of you.

  7. Amblin says:

Oh dear Jesus, there are no words. Only pain and heartache that my mere words cannot express. I ask Your Holy Spirit to intercede with groanings and for Your precious power and peace to envelop these children, their families, and these precious missionaries.

  8. Tears are flowing…..God please don’t let any more suffer
