Many parents of children in the RC are so thankful for the help they are recieved from RHFH.  They want to thank us for saving their childs life.  Her are a few gift that I got this past week. This is a gallon of fresh cows milk.

This is Moise below in the striped shirt.  He was admitted a few weeks ago.  His dad (blue hat) is the one that brought the gallon of milk above.  He came with dad (straw hat) to visit.  They were so happy, shocked and excited that he looked so good.  It was so wonderful to see three generations of the family together.

This is from another parent that visited this week.

Lori got this chicken for a little boy that was in the RC last year.  He came and ask her to buy him a chicken to raise.

We have running water in the RC and houses.  This is how is it going across the river right now to get to half of the village.  This will have to be taken down once the raining season begins.  We were able to take showers with actual water running out of the shower head!  SO cool!  It was the first time since Aug of 2008.  (Not that I took a shower :), that we had actual running water and not a bucket bath) God is good!

Donations to RHFH

The boxes that say USAID are soup mixes. Beside the boxes are many, many cases of baby food.

The kids do not really like the soup, so we are adding the dryed soup mix to the rice that they eat eachday.

A team member that was here a few weeks ago brought a wonderful gift.  She had these blanket made to put in the caskets with the children.  I love them and they help me.

1 Corinthians 9:22-24 (The Message)

19-23Even though I am free of the demands and expectations of everyone, I have voluntarily become a servant to any and all in order to reach a wide range of people: religious, nonreligious, meticulous moralists, loose-living immoralists, the defeated, the demoralized—whoever. I didn’t take on their way of life. I kept my bearings in Christ—but I entered their world and tried to experience things from their point of view. I’ve become just about every sort of servant there is in my attempts to lead those I meet into a God-saved life. I did all this because of the Message. I didn’t just want to talk about it; I wanted to be in on it!

24-25You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You’re after one that’s gold eternally.

It’s sad that you even need the blankets or caskets. Most of us will never know that heartache.

So glad you have running water. I cannot imagine not having that for months at a time! God is good.
