Here’s what the RHFH staff sees when they roll out of bed on clinic days…

We gave out 500 cards this morning. Many people sleep overnight in front of the clinic in order to secure their spot. The misery these people carry is unbearable. It just shouldn’t be, but it is, and RHFH serves them as God enables us. Clinic begins with prayer and devotion at 7am and usually wraps up around 6pm.

**Warning: There is one lady in line who is only partially clothed. Lori reports that she is HIV+ and has shingles, and so wearing a shirt is uncomforatble for her.

**I know you are being inundated with videos today. When I came down I brought a video camera with me to leave here. Like I said before, words fail, so maybe video can help you wrap your mind around what is happening here.

Wow! I can’t imagine standing in that line when I am suffering or my child. Its something we need to see though. Words just aren’t enough to explain. Video really makes us see and understand. Thank you everyone at the RHFH for everything that you do.

  4. Hey Anna. This is Jean Dany & Danise’s mom. It was great to meet you in Miami and see in person who I am praying for. I continue to pray for you and RHFH… you all are my heroes and I consider it an honor to pray for you and your work. My heart is with you all.

Thank you SO much for taking the time to make these videos. I’m excited to pass them along to others and show them more of what it’s really like there. The tour was wonderful, Darlens is beautiful, and that line for the clinic is even longer than when we were there. Amazing! Such tough, beautiful people. Praying like crazy for all of you. Miss those kids SO much!

I love seeing the video. It was so neat to see the tour. I walked all those places just a few months ago. Praying daily for everything that all of you do and for ALL of you.

I have to comment on the line…I don’t think I have EVER seen such a good organized line-up in Haiti…gonna have to come and take some lessons on how you manage this! So glad to see all that you are continuing to do! Congrats on the land!

This brought back many memories for me, and that line is only half the story. I remember when I was living in Fonblan, I would see people coming down the mountain by candlelight in the early morning darkness on clinic day, walking for hours in the hope of getting close enough to the front of the line so that they could be seen that day. You continue to provide such a needed service to the area. May God continue to bless your work.
