Blessings from Feed My Starving Children

RHFH has been receiving boxes of Feed My staving Children rice for several years now.  Each month dad travel to Love-A-Child (this wonderful organization gets the rice to Haiti and distributes it all over the island free of charge to those in need) and picks up 100 boxes of rice.  We use these boxes for the children in the Rescue Center and then give many boxes out to those in need in our community.  We gave cards out to each church in the village and let them pick those in the greatest need for food.  We have also added on some others along the way that are is need.

This lady below took about 5 minutes to get her box wrapped up in a sheet so no one could see what she was taking home.  She comes faithfully every two weeks.

Here she is getting ready to go.

This past week we were blessed to be able to add a bar of soap, a bottle of baby shampoo, tomato paste peanut butter and a box of powered milk shakes.  These items were donated by Christian Aid Ministries.  We love CAM!

Matthew 25:37 (The Message)

37-40“Then those ‘sheep’ are going to say, ‘Master, what are you talking about? When did we ever see you hungry and feed you, thirsty and give you a drink? And when did we ever see you sick or in prison and come to you?’ Then the King will say, ‘I’m telling the solemn truth: Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me—you did it to me.’

So cool! We go to Haitian Christian Mission in Fond Parisien, just a mile or so down the road from Love a Child. I had no idea they helped you! That is so cool! Someone in Cincinnati Ohio (ME!) Love swhat you are doing! Stay strong!

I keep meaning to ask–if we don’t sew, can we just send summer sun-dresses (lightly worn)?
